Jakarta, October 18, 2022 – PT PLN (Persero) and PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MBI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the use of renewable energy from the Cirata Floating Solar Power Plant (PLTS) owned by PLN. The Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, witnessed the signing at the Cut the Tosh Collaboration Summit. MBI will use the PLTS as a renewable energy source, and it will help MBI achieve 100% renewable energy by 2025. In addition, PLN hopes that this collaboration will pave the way for future collaborations with various industries to use renewable energy to help achieve the Indonesian government's 2060 Net Zero Emissions agenda.
